Julie served on the National Board of Directors for the American Business Women's Association for 2 years and on her local board of directors for 5 years. She also served on the Board of Directors for CYT- Christian Youth Theater of DFW. She was honored with a guest appearance on "Good Morning America" where she was interviewed by Diane Sawyer and was named the 2017 Speaker Hall of Fame Inductee at the Society for Human Resource Management's Southwest Conference.

Julie is the coauthor of three books including 2 motivational books for women "The Princess Principle: Women Helping Women Discover Their Royal Spirit" and "Every Heart Has a Gift" as well as a business book "Success Simplified: Simple Solutions Measurable Results."
